Mary Ann Mendoza

Mary Ann Mendoza, an "angel mom", was excluded from Twitter after posting Tweets about immigration that Twitter determined were "hateful". In response, President Donald Trump tweeted that he would help her.
Mendoza is a fierce critic of open borders and sanctuary cities.  Her son, Sergeant  Brandon Mendoza, was killed in a frontal collision when an undocumented immigrant drunk hit him when Mendoza left work on March 12, 2014. She is known for her activism as an "angel mom" and acerbic tweets.
Apparently, it went too far for Twitter's "hate behavior" policy this week.  Mendoza was suspended from Twitter after a series of tweets that included one for US Sen. Kamala Harris, who is running for the Democratic nomination for president.
"@KamalaHarris, what law can I infringe and defend me so firmly?  Does it provide sanctuary for our laws?  The political cleansing of YOUR INACTION FOR THE DECADES is what is called.  You have #bloodyourhands for every death of an American murdered by an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL that you are protecting, "he wrote on Twitter, according to the screenshots obtained by  Breitbart  .
Mendoza appeared at  Fox & Friends on  Sunday morning, saying he thought it suspicious that the suspension came shortly after he announced he would be on the women's advisory board for Trump.  She said the timing was suspicious because she has been using "the same kind of language and language" since her son died five years ago.
She was also suspended from Facebook after posting the tweets in a post, telling her Facebook followers that she was suspended from Twitter.
Twitter asked him to eliminate six tweets that, they say, violate his "odious behavior policy", which Mendoza said he would not do.  She said Fox & Friends plans to file a lawsuit against Twitter.
Trump wrote on Twitter on Sunday morning: "I will help mom angel (and great woman) Mary Ann Mendoza with Twitter.  I know Mary Ann from the beginning, and she should never be silenced.  She is a winner who has lost so much, her son.  Twitter, if you are watching, do what you have to do, NOW!  @foxandfriends "
This is what you need to know:

1. He was banned from using Twitter in tweets to Kamala Harris and others

Mary Ann Mendoza was suspended from Facebook and Twitter after a series of tweets that Twitter said violated their hateful behavior policy.
Mendoza shared a series of tweets with Breitbart, who said that Twitter sent him his suspension notice.  The notice asked him to remove the tweets, which he refused to do.
"I'm telling the truth and Twitter is not going to close me," he told  Fox & Friends  .
She believes that the problem is in the use of the term "illegal aliens". He said that Twitter did not extend his reasons after sending him the notice, which included six tweets that said they violated the policy and a copy of his  policy of hateful behavior  .
The policy says: "Hate behavior: Can not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or illness serious..  Nor do we allow accounts whose primary purpose is inciting harm to others based on these categories. "
"They said it was hateful content that I posted on Twitter," he said on Fox & Friends.  They told me that I had to delete all six tweets they had sent me, and I refuse to do so.  I have appealed twice now.  This is the same kind of language and language that I have been using for five years, and it seems a bit strange to me.  I ended up posting those same tweets on Facebook so everyone knew they had suspended me on Twitter, and then Facebook put me in jail also for the same tweets I had photographed on Facebook. "
Mendoza also defended a frequently used hashtag, #bloodonthehands, which he said he often sends to officials who support the immigration policies he opposes.
"The lack of doing something, the responsibility on our borders, is actually creating more Americans killed by illegal aliens, and they have blood on their hands whenever another American is killed because they are not doing anything about it," he said. .
She said Twitter did not give her any other explanation.  Fox & Friends read a statement they received, saying: "Every time we determine that a tweet breaks our rules, we require that the owner of the account remove it before continuing on Twitter.  When we do this, the owner of the account receives a notification from us. "

2. Trump tweeted that he would help her

Trump promised to help Mendoza, calling her "a great woman" and "a winner".
"I will help the angel mom (and great woman) Mary Ann Mendoza with Twitter.  I know Mary Ann from the beginning, and she should never be silenced.  She is a winner who has lost so much, her son.  Twitter, if you are watching, do what you have to do, NOW!  @foxandfriends "
The tweet attracted the attention of others who say they support Mendoza, some use the hashtag "blood on their hands".
"Twitter thinks that by stopping the angel mom Mary Ann Mendoza on the Twitter platform that will silence her.  INCORRECT!  It will only amplify your voice, "wrote one person on  Twitter  .
"@Twitter has #bloodontheirhands to suspend #angelmom #MaryAnneMendoza," said another  tweet  .

3. The tweets shared in Mendoza that Twitter said were in violation

Mary Ann Mendoza shared five tweets with  Breitbart  .  She told Twitter that she had sent her a notice that the Tweets were in violation of the hate behavior policy, along with six tweets.
"@KamalaHarris, what law can I infringe and defend me so firmly?  Does it provide sanctuary for our laws?  The political cleansing of YOUR INACTION FOR THE DECADES is what is called.  You have #bloodonyourhands for every death of an American murdered by an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL that you are protecting, "he wrote on Twitter, according to the screenshots obtained by <a href =" https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/ 07/19 / twitter-suspends-angel-mom-for-post-about-illegal -igracy /, said a tweet.
"@NeverAgainAct Meanwhile, more than 4,300 Americans are killed EVERY YEAR by ILLEGAL ALIENS in the US  What do you have to say about it NEVER AGAIN?" She wrote.
"@SpeakerPelosi Americans are torn every hour by illegal alien criminals.  " Every hour, Mendoza wrote on Twitter.

4. His Son, Sergeant of the Police. Brandon Mendoza, was killed in an accident with an undocumented immigrant intoxicated

The son of Mary Ann Mendoza, police sergeant. Brandon Mendoza died on March 12, 2014 in a car accident with an undocumented immigrant who was taking methamphetamine and driving three times over the legal limit of alcohol, according to his  website  .  The other driver had driven the wrong way for 35 miles on four different roads before hitting her son, who was leaving his shift at work, he wrote.
"Brandon had many dreams about what he wanted to achieve in his life and had just completed the renovation of the Guerrero Park area in Mesa," says his website.  "He changed the neighborhood forever with his implacable unit to make it a safe place for families and especially for the children of the area.  Worked with the Code of Construction Division of the City of Mesa so that homeowners bring their rental properties to the code to provide a safe living environment for tenants.  He became friends with everyone he met.  the community knew that they could trust him and he was there for them. "
She has fought against immigration policies that she believes led to the death of her son.
"I have earned the right to my political opinion on border security," he wrote on Twitter.  "Politicians have made it political.  My son became collateral damage and they do not want to meet with me.  "They owe me face to face so I can tell them that THEY have fabricated these lies that they are telling the Americans."
She told  Fox & Friends  that she will not erase the tweets that Twitter said violates her policy and plans to file a lawsuit.
"My voice is the voice of my son.  "My son has been silenced, and now Twitter and Facebook have been taken to silence me too," he said.

Mendoza is on the women's advisory board for Trump

Mary Ann Mendoza told  Fox & Friends  that she believes her suspension of Twitter is due to the recent announcement that she would be on the  Women for Trump advisory board  .
"I do not know what's going on, but I refuse to eliminate those tweets because it's not hateful," he said on the show.
Mendoza also stated that he has received threatening messages on Twitter, and Twitter did not respond when he reported them.
"I've had people who have tweeted to me: 'Your son deserved to die,  I hope you die the same way your son did, at the hands of a drunken illegal alien.' I've reported them to Twitter and Twitter has not done anything about it. .  That's hate, "she said.
